Charlotte eats two bowls of white congee for breakfast for like 3 days. She’s been so hungry in the morning since last week maybe. When she wakes up in the morning she says : 妈咪吃饭饭，妈咪肚子饿饿 mommy eat ,mommy tummy is hungry. Mommy gets her a bowl , when she finishes she brought the bowl in the bedroom and says 妈咪饭饭 again. When mommy starts eating she would want some of mommy’s too. Charlotte eats so much in the morning.

We were reading a book today , Charlotte surprised mommy. She knows so many animals.she pointed to cow and said cow, moo. Pointed to horse and said horse neigh…Pointed to sheep said sheep baa and sung baa baa black sheep. She can say many more: tiger, lion, giraffe, elephant, monkey and etc.. both Chinese and English. She was counting birds with 12345 and was clear. She’s so smart.

Charlotte likes to pick her nose. She would also put what she picks out into her mouth. It’s a bad habbit but it’s hard to stop her.

Charlotte wanted to take off her “all in one” pajamas off and mommy got mad and told her if she took it off I would not sleep with her. She didn’t listen and said bye to mommy, so mommy left her room and locked the door of our bedroom. She couldn’t open it and was crying so hard. As son she saw mommy she wanted to put the pajamas on and asked to go sleep. Mommy gave her 2 chances and she knew she couldn’t try to take off another time.

Kasia is too attached to mommy. When we were at the library and mommy had someone else holding her while I get Charlotte changed. Kasia just kept crying.

Charlotte was holding Kasia’s hand and sitting on bed talking: 爸爸飞走了，爸爸上班班，赚钱，买尿布，妹妹好乖，妹妹可爱。 Kasia was sitting and leaning her body back and forth. She likes to do this a lot when she sits.

Charlotte hops to the changing table waiting to be changed when mommy ask if she wants to be changed. She says 小鸟搭窝，头发盖眼睛 in the morning when she feels that her hair is long or when mommy asks her if she wants to do her hair. She didn’t want mommy to do her hair for a while and mommy held her and showed her hair through the mirror and told her the birds would come make a nest and her hair was covering her eyes that she couldn’t even see mommy.

she didn’t want mommy to brush her teeth suddenly in one day and mommy didn’t brother to brush. Now when I start counting 123 she came lay down to let me brush. Whenever she sees mommy brushing she wants to brush and would say “妈咪一个刷刷 one brush”. Charlott likes to dip the brush in the water.

Kasia is now able to sit for a long time, probably at least thirty minutes. She’s so attached to mommy though. When she sees mommy walks away, out of her sight, she would start crying like screaming. When she sees mommy her smile comes back right away. She would sit in the Bumbo chair for a long time in the toys room with the heater on. She grabs every toy and bites them.

Charlotte played with the giraffe tand kept showing mommy it’s a giraffe saying “妈咪，长颈鹿” all day long yesterday and was obesessed with the toy.

Charlotte was playing with mommy peek a boo by standing behind mommy while we were both on bed. When mommy turn the head to her at one side, she kissed mommy. When mommy turned to the other side, she came kissed at mommy again. She’s so sweet. When she heard Kasia crying waking up, she would run to Kasia. Sometimes she would even put a pacifier into Kasiaas mouth.

Charlotte loves playing with Kasia. She would grab a toy like a rattle, but usually the pacifier and says ” 给妹妹 give to meimei”. She’s such a caring sister. Charlotte would pat on Kasia’s head and Kasia loves playing with Charlotte too. Kasia smiles so big when Charlotte plays with her.

Kasia is able to sit by herself for a long time now, at least 10 or 15 minutes. She would sit and observe or play with her toy without crying. She’s able to roll herself over well, a few rounds.

When she had her 6 month check. Her weight was 16lb 12oz. 61st percentile, height was at 14th percentile, like 25inches. Head circumstances at 71st percentile- big head like Charlotte.

Everyone is sick in the family. We went to buy a car last Saturday and it was really cold, around -20c. Kasia wasn’t dressed warm enough..Well, we were not expecting that cold. The process took too long that we didn’t get to eat lunch or dinner. Good things is we bought the car with good deal. However, Charlotte and Kasia got sick the next day. Charlotte’s nose was dripping like the faucet. Both of them got runny nose and cough and fever. Kasia is still having a fever today.

When they sleep togethed closely, Charlotte would try to grab Kasia’s pinky since that’s Charlotte’s sleeping habbit. Kasia doesn’t like Charlotte to grab her hand and would cry and get herself off from Charlotte. Mommy needs to let them sleep far apart. Charlotte sometimes just put her legs on Kasia’s head or her body.

Daddy and mommy went out for a date for our 5 year anniversary and have auntie Emily watch Charlotte and Kasia. They both cried through. We only had dinner and came back for the kids. We were planning to go the movie but didn’t want to let them cry at auntie’s house. We we came back Charlotte was so happy and smiley and didn’t want to go back home. It seemed that her day just started. Maybe because mommy woke her up from the nap and left her at auntie’s house without playing with her a little bit.

Kasia can laugh out with giggle sounds when being entertained. Even when she’s sick she still smiles a lot.

Charlotte got up in the morning and shouted “爸爸飞走了daddy flew away” and pretending she was crying and hurried to get off bed. Momny told her daddy is home, outside cooking and she went look him around. Charlotte loved daddy so much that she wouldnt want him to go to work on Friday when she woke up while daddy was leaving for work. She just wanted daddy to hold her and be with her.

She would say “xx 飞走了 (flew away) ” if something is missing or someone is gone. She has been saying this expression since mommy told her 奶奶坐飞机飞走了 grandma took the plane and flew away.

Charlotte was so excited about the first snow this year and had her boots and walking on the snow. Mommy made a snowman with her and she was so happy being in the snow. Mommy’s back got twisted though that I could barely walk today. But then we still made it to the church and waigong waipo’s house, maybe wasn’t the best idea.

China Auntie said Kasia looked just like cousin Yingying when she was little. Waipo said she always thought Kasia looked like someone but she couldn’t think of who, and now that auntie said it’s cousin Yingying, everyone agareed that Kasia and Yingying do look alike.

Charlotte night be ready to potty train. She likes playing with the toilet and put her seat on it. When she pees she would tell mommy “Charlott 拉臭臭”， she will also hop on the changing table herself and lay there waiting for mommy. Today she got up on it by herself again didn’t want mommy to help her get on. She sneaks the snacks a lot and knows where to them. She would eat the snacks while mommy don’t see her. But if I see her eating she would spit out what’s in her mouth and gives all the snacks to mommy. Last week she was trying to eat the chocolate in the drawer, daddy told her mommy is coming with a hurry sound. She put the piece back to the box and closed the drawer. she was so cute. Charlotte started not wanting to lay down and let mommy brush her last week. She would only want to brush herself, eat up all the paste.

Kasia is able to stand on couch for quite a few seconds. She can easily roll herself over now and has fell off from the couch or her bed to the floor. Even while she’s being changed, she wants to roll over and makes hard for us to get her diaper on. Every time Kasia poops, her poops leaks out.if there are 3 poop sounds , it will be leaked out, her clothes would need to be hand washed otherwise the stain stays.

We went to Saigon market the other day. There was a black lady saw Kasia and mommy said, ” she looks just like mommy”, but then when the lady saw daddy, she said” No , I think she looks more like daddy”. Many people say Kasia is more like daddy, some people say looks like Grandpa too.

Charlotte is speaking so much more that when mommy says something, she would repeat it, literay almost everything I say to her. She recently has been saying ” xx 坏了，咋办”,something not working, what shall I do. When she says 咋办， it sounds like 吃饭 eat, in Taiwanese. The moon had been bright and big and we were able to see it during the day. She would say 月亮 every time she saw it, and it sounded like 尿尿 pee. It’s so cute hearing her saying different words and her accents are cute. Charlotte beast naughty today , didn’t eat regular meals and wanted to eat candies. Mommy was mad and said to spank her. When she heard mommy saying 打屁股， she pranks herself while saying打屁股. Kasia was so attached to mommy today that when she didn’t see mommy she was OK. But when she saw mommy walked by she would be so excited and jumping and smiling. When mommy walked away she started crying. Kasia just wants to be held as much as she can have. She loves mommy so much.

When Charlotte sees Kasia sleeping , she would say ” mommy mommy, 妹妹睡觉meimei sleeping，shhh”, but she says it so loud that sometimes she wakes up Kasia.

Charlotte asks for a snack especially the animal crackers. When she asks and mommy gives to her, she always says “妈咪，一个就没了 mommy, just one then no more”. Because mommy always tells her only one, then she cannot ask for more, she always remembers it though she would keep asking more and say the same words at times. She’s so cute and says them so loud and seriously. Mommy would give her one piece and put the snacks aside that she can still see. She would just keep pointing to the snack box and saying 妈咪妈咪一个没了，she would also play with the container too.

Charlotte just wanted to ear plain rice or plain noodles. Mommy mixed some rib juicy stuff on the rice for her lunch and was too much , so I added more rice. Charlotte pointed to the white rice that had not been. Touched by the juice. If I spooned other part she wouldnt eat. She ate only the noodles and shrimp for dinner, not the veggies.

Kasia got strong legs that when she lays on bed and mommy tries to pull her up to sit, she just stands up when I pull. She’s lovable, whenever she wakes up and sees mommy she smiles so big, even when it’s dark during the night. She’s such a happy girl that melts mommy’s heart.

Kasia turned 5 month today. She’s such a snuggle and lovable baby. She even laughs when daddy or mommy plays hard with her such as kissing on her tummy or play peek a boo with her. She would laugh and keep kicking her legs and swing her body if she’s in the jumper, or when we try to let her sit and play with her, she would just fall back since her legs can try to kick. She just makes our day and melts our heart, very sweet baby.

Charlott cried sad when daddy left for work and since then was wandering around stairs and pulling things out of closet , yoga mat, shoes. mommy told her would take her out later but had to wait for meimei because she’s sleeping. Charlott spent like almost couple hours waiting mommy and was laying on the stairs. That’s what she does when she is unhappy or bored. She would pretend she’s snoring and sleeping while laying there too.

We went to play station eventually and Mommy forgot wallet. However, thanks to God, they let us in for free. It was $1 day. Auntie Emily and Sophia and Landon were there too. They took Charlott to play with them. Kasia popped through her outfit when we got there. Thanks to God that there was a spare one in the diper bag and it’s 0-3mo but fitted her perfectly. Lord saved Mommy’s day!

Kasia loves sleeping on her tummy these days as she learned to roll herself over. She has been sleeping on her tummy over night, though doctors always say not to do it, but I am happy to see that she doesn’t need to put much pressure on the back of her head. She slept so much today, until around noon. Mommy was sleepy and just slept through the morning until Charlotte really wanted to get up. Charlotte was up early but still laid with us or sometimes went find things to do. She must have gotten so hungry and just wanted to get off the bed and had mommy get up too. Mommy got some grapes for her and she ate them all, and then ate five dumplings, and was trying to get the bowl as empty as she could. Later mommy was going to have lunch and she took Mommy’s bowl and just sat there and ate for a long time. Such and hungry and poor girl.

We walked to daddy’s work. Kasia was able to sit in the push car so well. She made mommy easier because the carrier was in the car and daddy drove to work. On way back home Kasia felt asleep again. She slept again at night before mommy went to BSF. When I got home she’s at night sleep again. She must be at grow spurt.
