Last week Mommy brought the push toy from basement and let Kasia try to push. Kasia did a good job pushing it and can walk with it by herself now. She’s only 8 month old and is already crawling and stand and walking so well. Kasia can stand by herself for like 5 seconds.

Kasia is so cling to mommy today. She would not let go my arm. Mommy had to sit by her, once I walked away, she started screaming. She can do better by herself when she’s in the toys room.

Charlotte is getting better with potty training. Today daddy cooked very watery porridge. She had to pee like every 20 minutes. Charlotte is able to tell mommy if she needs to pee most of times.

We started potty training Charlotte over the weekend and she did a really good job. The first day she just needed to be reminded almost every hour. If she was not reminded she would pee on pants. We are able to tell when she needs to poop so far, she would also tell if she needs poop. She has peed on pants a few times, and she tells right away.

Kasia is able to stand for about 5 seconds herself without help. She would push the table toy or slide and walk herself, or walk around the little table. She falls a lot too since she’s too active. She is not like Charlotte when Charlotte was little. Kasia loves picking anything from floor and put into her mouth, food, hair rubber bands, etc.. she spends drawers in bathroom, closet, pull the bottles water off the crate, speaker attached to laptop, whatever she can see. Her eyes are very ‘sharp’, nothing can hide from her.

Charlotte loves holding Kasia’s hand when saying prayers before meal. She would run to Kasia if she’s not by her and cannot grab Kasia’s hand. She’s been doing this for a few mouth since we started saying prayer. She loves her little sister much. When Kasia is sleeping, Charlotte will be quite and say shhh.

Kasia loves eating with us. She sat with us on the table and literally grabbing food out of mommy’s plate and ate. She loved the taste and ate so fast. Today she wanted to eat more when mommy let her tried a small bite. She started crying and hitting the tray and was so mad if she didn’t get more. She is definitely ready for some food.

Kasia is too active, crawls around and always tries to stand when she finds something to support her to stand. Therefore she falls off and bump her head a lot too. Good thing is that now she would lay in the swing when she’s tired. She still wants mommy a lot. When mommy tries to put her down, she doesn’t sit, she would stand. Sometimes mommy walks Kasia, sometimes let her crawl, of course many times would hold her.

Charlotte loves kasia so much that when she sees kasia crying or not crying, she would hug around her and pat on her back or head. When I nurse Kasia, Charlotte likes to come over to look at her and pull Kasia’s eyes and hug her.

Charlotte is very interactive now and helps mommy with little things like bring wipes and a diaper to get changed. She brings water to let mommy open for her in the morning when she wakes up. Charlotte can play by herself so well now but she always likes mommy to ready for her. She likes playing with the Little People and cars and sing Five Little Monkeys, as she sings one falls off she throws one on the ground. It’s so fun seeing her doing that.

Charlotte likes to ask xxx 咋办？Like 下雨了咋办，下雪了咋办，坏了咋办? Daddy and mommy like to tease her and when she says 下雨了， we say 咋办， she gets so excited and would say it repeatly, we would say 咋办 repeatly. She can play this for a while.

Kasia was able to sit and then grab the toy and stand up by herself . She is so active now that she would not sit still. She always try to find things to do. She tried to take a few steps around the little table and was able to get around it. She was able to stand for about 3 seconds. Very brave girl.

Kasia started crawling this past week. She is able to crawl all over the toys room. When she wakes up in the morningshe crawls to the edge of the bed a lot, makes mommy so worried.

When Kasia sees an object that is far away she would crawl to reach it. She smiles at mommy when she sees mommy talking to her at distance, about 4 or 5 meters away.

She is very alert and knows what she wants. When she sees something new that she never played with before she would go for it . When mommy gives her the old toy for exchange she would not do it.

Charlotte has become so interactive now. She’s able to communicate a lot and fun to play with. Last Sunday waigong was with us and when he was about to leave, Charlotte wouldn’t let him go and let waigong hold her for like half hour at the stair on way out. She kept playing and singing with waigong. She even said bye-bye to mommy when waigong asked her to go home with him. Later mommy said she could go with waigong, mommy and daddy would go out with meimei later. When she heard it she said byebye to waigong so loudly and said so many times and came to mommy. She could understand a lot now.

Charlotte has been obsessed with book reading now. She carries her book and asks mommy to read with her so many times a day, before bed, after getting up. She knows a lot of animals and shapes and colours now.

Charlotte also loves carrying stuffed animals with her, especially the rabbit and the monkey. She would feed the rabbit food. She loves singing “five little monkeys” and throws the toys on the ground when she sings “one fell off and bump his head”, because daddy played like this with her before.

Charlotte loves playing with Kasia of course. They two can play in the toys room or the little ppl mat area for quite a while. She loves giving kisses and giving kasia hugs or just touching her.

Charlott started eating a lot more veggies like 3 weeks ago. She would eat broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, spianch, green beans, carrots and etc.. she didn’t like those veggies much, and suddenly started eating them. We were surprised and offered more to her. If we give her just white rice, she would not add veggies on the plate though and ends up eating just rice. Mommy usually try to mix the veggies in for her. Daddy was so happy to see it. He’s like we don’t need to worry about changing such smelly diapers anymore. Charlotte’s poop smells , in dad’s word ” 辣眼睛” like spice up his eyes, very smelly. Charlotte also surprised mommy for how much she understood when she pulled out a book and started reading. She was able to point to the animals and make their sounds. Yesterday she showed me the wood shapes and was telling me square, circle, oval. She also pulled out another book and pointed to the numbers and read ” one two three , heart”. She could recognize up to 8 for the book she showed mommy. She’s able to count to 10. Charlotte really surprised mommy because we never taught her those. She must have learned that from listening to the songs from YouTube. Kasia is very needy now. If mommy is out of her sight she would look for mommy. She’s able to lift her tummy of the floor and move her body a little bit, she does it a lot when she lay down. She’s starting to grab her toes and today she bites her toes.

We went to waipo’s house today since it’s her birthday. Kasia only wanted Mama. Waipo really wanted to help holding kasia so that Mama could eat. But Kasia started crying once Mama let go of her. Later Mama found out Kasia is already teething. She’s got tiny two little teeth on the bottom. Mama could feel them when putting finger in to let her bite. This might be why Kasia has been so attached to mommy lately. Kasia can roll herself over back and forth and lifts her tummy off the surface. She seems like trying to crawl. She roll herself to the wall by the window and got stuck in the gap between the wall and the bed in master bedroom this morning.Changing Kasia’s diaper can get tough. she tries to roll herself over all the time and grabs Mama’s arms. Charlotte treasures crackers and candies so much. She always holds them a long time before she eats them when Mama gives her one. When Mama gives her two animal crackers, she would eat one right away and keep the other one in hand and walk around with it, and sometimes she even loses it. But if Mama only gives her one she would just hold it for a while and sings finger song with the cracker. When she gets a vitamin candy, she plays with it for awhile too. When she finally start eating it, she eats little bites instead of putting whole candy in the mouth.
