Kasia sucks her fist now an d Mama tried to put a pacifier into her mouth and she started sucking. Kasia has stuffed nose especially in the morning after waking up. Mana tried to suck the stuff out and she’s against to it ,would grab Mama’s hand and turn her head away.

Charlotte got up and didn’t see Kasia outside, so she came to baba and Mama s room and got on the bed herself playing with Kasia who was also on the bed. She was holding her hand and talking to her.

Charlotte doesn’t want her shoes on at all now. We’ve been shopping for a few days and she just ran with barefeet at the mall. She likes to hide in the bunches of clothes so that she’s hard to be found. Last night we were going to the mall to return something, Charlotte wanted to go and Mama asked her to put a specific pair of shoes on but she wouldnt, we went without Charlotte. Nainai hurried her to have shoes on and came out, but we already started backing the car. We want her to learn that she didn’t get to have second chance. Nainai said she was sad and didn’t want to take her shoes off for a while. Such a sweet poor girl

Charlotte always do “3” gesture when taking pictures.

Kasia is very alert now. when we talking to her, she smiles so big and make “ah ah” sound. she melts everybody’s heart. Kasia has yeast infection and is being treated now and is getting better.

2 month appointment Kasia was 11 pounds, head is 13%, smaller than Charlotte. Dr. Greenlie referred Kasia to children physical Therapy because she likes to turn to right side and hard time to stay at left side, so has a moderate flat head.

Charlotte is talking more and more now and can point to the right person when we ask her  who is daddy etc..谁是爸爸，妈妈,妹妹，外公，奶奶，姨姨，哥哥姐姐. she can call Waigong too.  Yesterday we went shopping, when nainai got into the car, she hit mommy’s head. when coming home, nainai was trying to get in the car again, she moved her cup to make room for nainai to get into the car. she is so smart.

Charlotte likes to say “bu yao” (no). even when she dreams or wakes up in the middle of night, she would say 不要不要，but when she’s been asked, do you want to watch Tv, do you want a candy, do you want to go play with GeGe JieJie, she would say 好 （ok）. she’s got clear mind when it comes to the good stuff!

Kasia has gained much weight and is able to sleep overnight now. It has been over a week that she didn’t wake up during the night. She sleeps before 10pm and can sleep in the bassinet well. Kasia seems to find her hand to suck starting yesterday, she might find her thumb to suck soon.

Charlotte had been sick but is recovering well, maybe a little sore throat. Baba and Mama now both have a cold with stuffed nose though.

Baba dimed toys room light, Charlotte took a stool and trying to turn it back but doesn’t know how to do it. So she turned it on and off , cannot find the trick.

Mama and baba were going to church with kidless on Sunday bit Charlotte was fussy. She got up 5wm because she fell asleep before 6pm the day before. Mama took her over and realized she had a temperature. We didn’t go to church and Baba went get tynorol, candy type. Charlotte had one but wouldn’t take more. NAINAI was holding her the whole afternoon and have her watch videos which is not good actually. At night she’s still unhappy. After meal Baba and Mama took Charlotte out for a walk to Walgreen, was crying at beginning but got better later. Baba bought liquid one and naked juice and Charlotte wanted to drink right away. Charlotte wouldn’t drink or eat the whole day. Baba and Mama were happy to get her drink something.

Charlotte fell asleep on way back home, and slept with baba and Mama. During the night when Mama got up to nurse Kasia, Charlotte was up too. Baba tried to give some medicine or drink, Charlotte didn’t want and just kept crying and was bleeding. NAINAI came up but wasn’t helpful. Mama took Charlotte and calm her down and fell back to sleep. The next morning after some communication with Charlotte, she finally drank a few sips of water. Thanks Lord for listening to my prayers. This day Charlotte was with Mama more, when NAINAI took her she would be fussy again, and eventually came to Mama again. We walked to Baba’s work to come home with him together after work.  Charlotte ate some kong xin cai and drank some milk. Baba and mama out Charlotte to sleep before 8pm, though woke up a few times. It’s been a tough time but Baba and Mama are happy to spend some qualify time with Charlotte.

The 3rd day Charlotte got up early , before daddy’s work time. She wanted Baba to hold her, but she’s been happy in the morning.

Mama let Alexa play ‘ if you are happy ‘ and Charlotte was too excited and singing and dancing. When it ends she came to Mama and say ‘happy’, so I asked  ‘ 还要吗”, she said “好“. Mama then goes ‘ Alexa, repeat. ‘ every time when the song ends she came to mama and said ‘happy, happy until I asked if she wanted to hear again and she would say Zhao when I asked. Very sweet and start girl.
Charlotte also learned to pump like mommy too. When she saw mama pumping, she took the bottle and pulled her shirt trying to find her ‘boob’.

Charlotte doesn’t like wearing shoes. When we went to Aldi shopping, she wanted to walk without shoes, but Mama insisted to Not let her down until she put them on and showed her no one had their shoes off at the store. Eventually she put on . After we went home, we went play outside and I asked Charlotte to put on shoes, she was so good and had her new sandals on , but they were hard to walk and she walked slowly with them. She would take them off once a while but Mama would say ‘shoes’, she would put back on. It’s hard to train her to have shoes on but she’s getting better, at least she is listening.

We went to potluck at park today. After lunch Charlotte was playing with water and got wet, it then rained. So we went home since had to take daddy back to work and no power at home leaving garage open. The rain stopped so we went back to the park since all the cousins were still there. When Charlott saw everyone playing with swings she wanted to sit too. She was on it for like 45min without getting off.

Kasia smiles when people talk to her. Nainai was holding Kasia and she smiled so much. Waipo was here tonight watching cousins. She held Kasia and talking to her and Kasia smiled too. Waipo was surprised to see. Kasia slept overnight. Mommy had to get up to pump at around 5am. Good mommy had a longer sleep.

Charlotte had been taking mommy’s phone and not want to give back. Mommy was unhappy and didn’t want her to have it. She cried and was fussy for a while and went to grandma. Later when Charlotte calmed down, mommy communicated with her saying that mommy doesn’t want her to play phone all the time, it’s not good for her eyes. So if mommy doesn’t want her to play, don’t take the phone. Charlotte is a smart and good girl. She has been pretty good. When she tried to grab mommy’s phone, I say to her: what did mommy told you, it’s mommy’s phone I don’t want you to play with it now. Charlotte would give it back to mommy. Very sweet girl. 

Charlotte loves jelly. Yesterday when grandma gave her one, she was so happy and smiling a lot after being fussy for a bit. She held that jelly for hours, and sometimes put it down to do something else. She can hold it for an hour or two,  and then eat it. 

During dinner Charlotte wanted some guiyuan but mommy didn’t allow because she had some nose bleed. Charlotte tried to get by herself and the can fell off the floor. Nobody was happy and grandma took her to basement and feed dinner. Daddy made some ground meat and mommy took some down for Charlotte. While down there I asked Charlotte to hug mommy and she did, though I smelled her poop lol. And I asked to kiss mommy she did too. Charlotte is such a sweetheart. I asked her to hug daddy she did too.

In the afternoon  we were eating strawberries, Charlotte used toothpick to get a piece trying to feed kasia. She also brought blankets to cover Kasia while mommy holding her on nursing pillow. Charlotte used blankets to cover Kasia’s head.

Kasia is so grown up now that she’s showing more facial expressions such as smiles and opening her mouth. Her legs are strong, can kick well. 

Charlotte is a good big sister now. Couple days ago when Sierra was here, mommy cut some peaches for everyone to eat. Mommy said give one to Sierra, Charlotte used a fork to get peach and feed Sierra.

Yesterday Charlotte took a brush trying to brush Kasias. Grandma said  little sister doesn’t have teeth yet and Charlotte stopped doing it.

Charlotte has been learning how to say I Love you. She started with unclear pronunciation but now she can say quite well. She yelled ‘ I love you Mommy ‘ the other day. She’ll say 爱妈妈 w/en mommy says it. When mommy pretend getting hurt say 痛痛， Charlotte would come pat on mommy’s back. Such a sweet heart. 

Kasia has grown much, grandma said Kasia gained much weight and can feel it while holding her. Mommy feels the weight too. Kasia cries more than Charlotte. When she starts crying and nobody comes to her, she’ll start going very loud. She can sleep quite well during the day but when it’s night for everyone to sleep she’ll be crying again. After mommy nurses her she’ll usually be alright though. She can sleep quite well at night waking up a couple times to be nursed.
