we all went to church today and auntie’s Emily’s family were there too.  We went to China King together for lunch. There’s an old couple was asking the owner’s son whether Charlott was a boy or a girl. the boy told them it’s a girl.  The old lady came to mommy and told me that they were deciding whether Charlotte was a boy or a girl. i told them it’s a girl. She said baby is such a doll and a cutie.  We all went to Menards together afterward to pick up windows for our patio. Daddy went and get them ordered at night. I was holding your cousin Sierra and you were in the car seat in stroller and kind of started crying because you wanted mommy too.

外公晚上来我们家，一进来看到宝贝坐在highchair 上，于是想抱抱，可是宝贝不想让外公抱，就把腿腿扣在椅子不想让外公抱起来。 外公以为是highchair弄得太紧了 所以要把tray拉开一点。妈妈就问怎么一回事，外公说他想抱宝贝可是抱不起来。妈妈才发现原来宝子只想让妈咪抱。刚开始宝贝还不怎么想让外公抱，可和外公玩了一会就熟起来，和外公玩得好开心。晚上外婆下班回来来我们家，外婆想抱宝贝，宝贝也是哭得好可怜。前两个礼拜还和外婆玩得好开心，才两个礼拜就认人了

哈哈哈，宝子好困哟。今天宝贝爸爸拿手机给妈妈不小心砸到骨头都哭了，宝贝就在妈妈旁边看到妈妈哭了好慌，爬过去打了爸爸两下，然后贴在妈妈的肚子上抱着妈妈哭了。妈妈和宝贝说没事，她昂起头看看妈妈，妈妈好像还在哭，她又抱着妈妈再哭一会。妈妈赶快擦干眼泪和宝贝说没事了，这下宝贝才对着妈妈笑得好开心。宝贝才八个月这么懂事让爸爸妈妈好感动呀

Mommy let you stay on bed like usual and went out to cook. After I’ve been out for about 15 minutes. I heard a “bong” sound and I thought you fell down from bed right away before you even cried. I ran into the room and you already started crying. It must hurt so much and my heart was broken. Mommy held you up right away and hugged you. I tried to nurse you but after two bites you turn up and crying so I just hold you and walk around, but you were smiling already after a little bit. I texted daddy about it and she called mommy to ask about you. He came back home early like 10:15 because he’s worried that mommy needed to cook and had no time to take care of you. Daddy loves you so much!

2/22/16

You were in the room by yourself playing. Daddy and mommy both went out to make something to eat. I was in the restroom and heard you crying a little bit but not loud. I thought you just didn’t want to be yourself and didn’t think much. When I went in the room I couldn’t see you so I was glancing at all the spots and found you on the right corner of the mattress where the end table was by your crib. Daddy had been wanting to take the end table out because he thought that you would fell on that table since you can roll very flexible now. I asked him to wait until day time to do it and he had not done it yet and it happened! Daddy took the end table out right away and moved your crib to attach the wall.

You can be very loud now when you started crying, even at night when you wake up, you would cry loud unlike like in the past when you only made soft sounds.

2-20-16

Today was a snow day and it’s valentine’s day. We were invited by Ling, a friend from bible study group. I bought you a new winter outfit that waipo picked for you. You took a nap on way to their place and still sleeping at their place, like an hour. You were sweating while sleeping  with the thick outfit. You were really good the whole day. We ate hot pot and I let you try the soup  and you loved it. I brought your small high chair, and you sat on it for a couple hours with no complaint. They all liked you because you were smiling a lot when they were talking to you.

You were having trouble with pooping these couple days. You would have a piece of poop got stuck when changing your diaper. It’s easy to tell that you were trying to poop again because your face would be making “eng eng” sound.

2-14-16

You slept so well today. Woke up once during the night so mommy let you sleep by me. We were up early before 7 the watch the Gala and you were still sleeping well. Daddy got up to cook since we were going to a Chinese new year potluck. You got up at around 10:45am and I took a bath for you in the sink since daddy hasn’t taken one for you for a week. we went to the potluck at around noon. There were people from our bible study group and Dr. Wu held you after lunch.

We all slept in the living room tonight because daddy said we could get up early to watching the Spirng Festival Gala early in the morning. We moved out the blue crib for you to sleep in.

2-7-16

Mommy didn’t go to work since you were too sick and had trouble breathing sometimes. I wanted to stay with you to make sure you are doing ok, and didn’t want you to spread the illness to other kids at daycare. We went to waipo’s house for lunch and dinner again-as waipo already said she would cook lunch for us. You slept a lot today-got up at almost 11am, head to waipo’s house. You felt asleep again after lunch until almost 5pm. Daddy went to waipo’s place for lunch and dinner too. Waipo cooked dinner and head to work because your granduncle called her to work. You had been waking up at least 2 or 3 times during the night since the first day that you were coughing/ sick.

2-5-16

I picked you up from daycare and Missy was touching your forehead and saying you might have a  temperature. I never thought about you would have a fever but yes, your body was really warm. I took your temp after got home. The thermometer wasn’t accurate for the first few times. It was showing  around 98.4 for a few times. There’s one time showing 102.7 and I called daddy but he didn’t answer the phone and I took a picture of it and send to him. We went to waipo’s house for dinner as she wanted to cook for daddy and mommy because she knew we were busy. Daddy saw the missed calls and called back. I told him about your temperature. He said he’s going to head back and take you to emergency right away. He was at dinner with co-workers. He grabbed you to urgent care himself. Mommy was very hungry and just got to waipo’s house. You were diagnosed as RSV and fever of 102.4.. we went to hyvee  to get your prescription. Daddy said that when the nurse weighted you, you were only about 17lb and the nurse thought the weight scale was inaccurate because you didn’t look like a 17lb baby

2-4-16

You throat wasn’t feeling great at all through the night, you coughed and woke up a few times and crying. I tried to comfort you nursing you and letting you sleep by me. you woke up probably 3 times. This morning when you got up at 9am, you were ok on bed and smiling. After I changed your cloth and gave you some baby food we made last night, you didn’t seem to be happy. You had runny nose after I took a big piece of bi shi out of your nose.  You had the soft crying in the morning and you pooped too.
