5/15 今天大家都睡得好晚，11点才起床。本来公司组织去公园烧烤，一起床就看到通知取消了。爸爸煮了粥然后煎了几个鸡蛋，我们就当午餐吃了。我们没有去教堂，但是打算去外公家帮他换网络公司，好晚才去就是，爸爸妈妈都好懒，在沙发上看电视看了好一会三点左右才去。二姨三姨也在，不过二姨他们刚好要走。我们到了就先走路去邻居看看有没有 garage sale,不过应该是太晚了，而且星期天，所以已经没有了。

于是我们走回外公家，爸爸打电话要停网，不过星期天人家只开新帐户，停网要周内打。外公抱着宝贝，宝贝已经很累了，很快就睡着了，但外公又不敢放下来怕宝贝醒，最后还是放在他们床上，一放下去宝贝可是哭得超大声，把外公吓着不敢放下去，妈妈让外公继续放下去，然后妈妈陪着宝贝。妈妈躺两分钟就出来了，不过宝贝也没睡着。爸爸心疼宝贝自己一人呆房间里或掉下来，他一定要去和宝贝一起。今天妈妈一直头疼，也有些累了，在外公家也没事做，所以就回家了。回家后把宝贝放在 stroller 里然后 park 在树下。爸爸妈妈就在 driveway 那边树上掉下来的东西，还有把路边清理一下，看起来比较好看。宝贝坐在旁边一直在叫，到最后都不知道是在哭还是在叫了，妈妈看着宝贝好可怜，就停下来抱抱，也超不多弄完了就是。吃了晚餐后我们都躺在床上，妈妈好累又头痛的，躺着就睡着了，睡到十点多爸爸带着宝贝来睡觉妈妈都没有起来洗澡。爸爸说妈妈睡觉的时候他带着宝贝看动画片蜡笔小新，宝贝看着跟着笑。

5/14宝贝早上起床有点流鼻涕，爸爸说每次教堂有人说没有给宝贝穿暖和会感冒，每次回家都会感冒。今天一天都在外头办事，我们去了 centurylink 看看网的价格怎么样，然后去了 Hy-Vee 买东西，外婆帮我们拿了10%的员工 discount. 这样买下来还是花了差不多 94 美金。买完后我们去 Freddy’s 吃午餐，开到了宝贝就已经睡着了，也已经下午两点多了是该睡午觉了。不过等我们要吃宝贝就醒过来了也要跟着吃。妈妈给了宝贝薯条一起吃，宝贝还想拿着薯条蘸酱吃呢。

我们回了趟家把买的肉放冰箱然后去了 Westdale 的Younker 买衣服因为我们有 coupon. 上次看到一双运动鞋，是妈妈一直想买的，但没有coupon试穿了都没有买，所以今天来买，还买了一些衣服，花了差不多一百刀，不过已经大半年没有添衣服了，爸爸说尽管买没关系，但妈妈花那么多钱还是好心疼的说。爸爸在外面陪妈妈试衣服，每次妈妈走出来让爸爸看衣服，宝贝看到妈妈都要哭一下看看妈妈能不能抱抱。最后让爸爸把宝贝抱到试衣间让妈妈喂好了。买完了我们带赵瑜去妈妈的三叔家，因为她想学怎么种菜，三叔公和婶婆都喜欢逗宝贝玩。宝贝只要让妈妈抱，他们说只能陪宝贝玩，不能抱的。

晚上宝贝和爷爷奶奶视频了一会，然后爸爸帮宝贝洗澡了，爸爸给妈妈看了宝贝屁股又有一条血痕，已经第三次了，不知道是不是换尿布不小心刮到了。

5/13 mommy got off early today and picked up baby. Missy said that baby’s got another tooth popping out. Mommy roasted quarter leg and made dinner for everybody but got burned a little bit when trying to check those quarter legs.  We went to church tonight and baby was so active like usual but was quiet too. Mommy gave her some cereal and she spread them all over the table and was trying to grab the candies that someone had brought in. baby never stops being active. When bible study ended, Emily’s mom, who just came from China, said that you were such a good baby, didn’t get fussy or anything like that and asked that mommy should dress you more because it’s cold today and pulled mommy’s out layer to cover baby.  Zhao Yu also went today and wanted to play with baby. Baby is ok playing with her, but wouldn’t let anyone to hold yet.  we went home and watch some TV shows and it was too late when we finished it like 1am.

5/12 爸爸今天忘了给宝贝带水所以妈妈中午上班前给宝贝送水，去的时候宝贝坐在 high chair 上好像刚吃完什么东西，头发脏脏的，估计边吃边摸头发。其他小朋友也都在吃午饭。今天爸爸说五点半下班，妈妈一接完宝贝直接奔爸爸公司接他下班，妈妈到了才给他打电话和发短信，搞得爸爸急着跑出来都没 charge 时间。爸爸说想去餐馆吃饭，因为明天 true green 要来喷草，所以晚上想割草。妈妈好爽快就答应了，爸爸好开心现在妈妈答应得那么爽快。我们去了 golden palace , 给了宝贝自己一个 plate, 放了 broccoli 和 鱼， 宝贝一看到吃得吃得可快了，妈妈都来不及加菜。宝贝吃饭的姿势真是太可爱了，坐得不够稳，感觉半躺着吃饭。宝贝还会边吃边自己喝水可厉害了。不想吃了就把碟子抓起来，或者把菜抓起来乱扔。吃完了服务员拿来 fortune cookie, 宝贝也是拿起来玩，还把它咬住嘴里把手放开，最后都把 fortune cookie 给打开了。回家后给宝贝点 chips, 然后妈妈收拾厨房，爸爸割草.

5/11 爸爸 email 妈妈说冰箱里啥东西都没有要不要出去beijing express 吃，然后去买菜。爸爸这个借口好，妈妈都不忍心拒绝了。我们到了 Beijing， 旁边 pizza 店门口有人在抽烟，妈妈赶快抱着宝贝走，想把鼻子捂住，爸爸说这样子去了中国怎么办呢哈哈。宝贝和爸爸妈妈乖乖地坐在 high chair 上，也会抢着吃，不过点的面有点辣辣的，宝贝不宜吃太多。

吃完后我们去 fareway 买菜去，宝贝坐在 stroller 很乖，偶尔还自己在那喷口水，店里有个男员工看到宝贝就想和宝贝讲话，他说他有个老师的孩子也和宝贝同名字。买饮料的时候宝贝看到旁边有人走过去，宝贝像玩 peek a boo 一样，躲在妈妈怀里然后又把头抡出去看看人家。等我们shopping 快完了要结账，后面的一个女士也在逗宝贝，宝贝总是笑嘻嘻的。

回家后给宝贝弄了些玉米和 peas 吃，不过宝贝好像不是很爱吃，所以就在学步器自己玩会，妈妈把水杯拿到宝贝旁边，宝贝一手玩玩具一手拿水杯喝水好可爱。爸爸先洗澡，然后也给宝贝洗澡，宝贝现在已经不怕水了，还坐起来自己玩起水了。

5/10 妈妈今天两点就下班了，不过没有马上去接宝贝。妈妈花了两个半小时把外面的路边清理了下。因为我们家外面的路太脏又太旧，看看清理下会不会好看点。

四点半妈妈就去接宝贝， Missy 在喂奶，不过宝贝看到妈妈就不吃了，远远的看着妈妈笑得好开心。爸爸说早上送宝贝去宝贝可是边走边欣赏风景，一看到 Missy 觉得情况不对马上趴在爸爸身上抓住脖子然后就哭了。回家就给宝贝吃点 peas, 不过宝贝动，所以妈妈就给了点 veg chips, 这是宝贝的最爱，宝贝一吵给这个吃就很乖了。妈妈一条一条地给，要不宝贝每次吃得好快，好几条一起吃。然后也可以多喝水，宝贝现在可厉害了，水杯自己拿着喝，还很有模样。

没过多久宝贝又在拉屎屎了，还是拉不出来，宝贝拉屎经常拉得好辛苦。妈妈把宝贝放 changing table 把尿包打开这样会好拉点，妈妈刚把宝贝屁股擦了擦，宝贝就开始拉屎了，屁股撅得特别高，拉出来可舒服多了。宝贝自己玩学步玩具，妈妈在旁边坐着，宝贝就自己脚步移了点点，把手手收放沙发，但又不敢多走。妈妈把沙发的 ottoman 拿开一点让宝贝活动活动，不过宝贝不太敢走，就手手移来移去，摔了一跤把爸爸给吓着，因为玩具就在旁边，不过宝贝就哭了几声就不哭了。妈妈告诉爸爸说没有关系的，看看宝贝才哭几声就不哭了，爸爸笑着说是不是宝贝已经摔习惯了。

5/9 Today is a little chilly with some rains. Mommy thought it was going to be sunny and warm like yesterday and dressed baby with short sleeves. When mommy picked baby up at Missy’s house, Missy said she was going to put another layer on but wasn’t sure if the cloth in the diaper was clean. Mommy wasn’t sure either because we haven’t touched the cloth in the bag for a while. Daddy made fried rice noodles for dinner. Charlotte didn’t eat much. After dinner mommy gave some corns and peas.

5/8 Today is mother’s day. We went to Hy-vee to see waipo after church with aunties and cousins.  Waipo was very happy to see us all.  We bought a flower for her and then we ate lunch there. Charlotte didn’t want to seat in high chair and kept pushing the tray away when mommy was trying to put the tray together. Mommy got a broccoli for Charlotte and she starts eating right away.

We went back home to take a nap. Daddy and mommy taking nap on the couch. Daddy tried to put baby on swing but she’s not cooperating, and cried like it’s the end of the world lol. Mommy went calm baby down and back to couch to sleep and baby finally fall asleep, but woke up after like an hour. So mommy took baby to couch to play with daddy and mommy. Baby played daddy’s mouth, scratching and digging and thought it was fun. Charlotte fell asleep shortly. Daddy and mommy laughed because baby cross her feet a lot and was crossing her feet while falling asleep. Baby was mouthwatering and sweating so much.

We went to auntie Emily’s house for dinner for mother’s day. Daddy made some corn and we brought the cake that daddy and baby prepared for mommy.  Charlotte didn’t want to sit along so mommy had to stay with baby while eating. Charlotte ate a lot of corns and loved it. When it’s time to eat the cake, mommy wanted to get a picture, and baby just kept staring at the cake and trying to grab it every time we tried to take a picture.  It was so loud at the house because there were so many kids running around. Corey said he cannot believe Charlotte will be grown up and run like that as baby Charlotte is so happy and always smile now. We went back home  afer 8pm. Charlotte doesn’t want to be alone and crying so hard again when mommy’s trying to put her on swing.  Mommy played with baby until daddy finished his shower.

5/7   Mommy went to work today and daddy and Charlotte were home together.  Daddy said baby didn’t get any milk today, just cereal and snacks. Daddy said he wanted to save some milk for later lol. Mommy nursed baby a little bit and gave some snacks. Charlotte grabbed all the chips, one in mouth and each hand had some too. It was so funny.  We took a nap in the afternoon and mommy played some sleep music while sleeping. Baby just slept on the swing. Daddy and mommy on the couch. We went to Coralville to pick up a cake that Daddy and baby surprised mommy. We went to eat at a Vietnamese restaurant to eat some pho first. Charlotte wanted to eat some too. Mommy gave some on plate, but baby’s not grabbing-so mommy fed Charlotte some pho.  The lady in the restaurant said  Charlotte was so cute once she saw us walked in. Later she came and wanted to interact with us, baby started crying. Mommy told her that baby is afraid of strangers now

We went to cold stone to pick up the cake, the lady who helped us said this was the most beautiful cake she’s seen. Daddy was like “it’s time to reveal why baby hasn’t changed her diaper today 是时候揭晓为什么宝子今天都还没换尿包子了。”.  And asked mommy to go read the words on the cake. Daddy is such a caring daddy and hubby. We are so lucky to have him.

5/6 Daddy made some soy bean milk for mommy and some apple for baby this morning. Such a caring daddy and hubby we got in the family. We went to church after dinner tonight. Charlotte was playing with daddy’s phone and mommy’s phone on table and laying on table and turning a circle and sometimes rolling to get mommy’s phone. It’s fun to see baby can do so much now.  After bible study we had some talk outside with Zhou Hua and aunties. Daddy went to the car waiting for us, because…his tummy hurt.
